prestigio? sorry-english

Hello everybody!

First, sorry if I am not understood, I'd like to write in czech, but it is still very poor, and believe me that you can understand more with my english (not native) than with my czech

I live in Prague and I am looking for a new laptop. I was considerating ASUS (M6858N), but I saw these computers, PRESTIGIO, which are terrible cheap! what´s up with them? I am looking for a brand with a good SAS (?) - support assistance service? (servis in czech, I think), and I know that ASUS have it... but it is about 10000kc more than PRESTIGIO nobile 157!

Can anybody tell me anything about PRESTIGIO? I cannot even find too much about it in internet, and I am also interested if they are compal, uniwill... or what. I saw a thread in this forum about it, but I cannot understand too much because of my czech.

And a second question, now that I'm here How is ACER's technical support in CR? Because, as far as I know, it is terrible in other parts of Europe!

prestigion is a low end notebook, some people believe that it is ok by would buy acer, better than prestigio, almost the same as asus, but the price is ok

Acer and Asus has got a very good service in The Czech republic. CZE is not over of the world, but central Europe. If you want high quality laptop, with precious service and technical support, buy one of these. As pavel.minarik wrote...

dekuji. Uz videl jsem neco o prestigio tady, nevim co jsem delal vcera s "hledat" bylo neco jako PRESTIGIO NEBRAT XD tak, myslim ze to nekupuju.

Promim pro muj cesky... now in english: the fact that acer have a good service in CR is a good notice. As far as I know, to buy an acer means that if fails, you have no more computer for at least 2 months, in some cases until 4 months!!!!! it is unbeliveable, but true.

So if you say that here the servis is ok (and with ok I mean also in not waiting so long), I would think about them, also, and not only in ASUS (which I know they have a good service around the world)
