Jak to bude vypadat s 4-jadry?Druhy polovina roku prinese Deneb a Propus jiz dva procesory 4-jadra na 45nm. Zajimavy bude dvoujadro s L3 cache Kuma.
A predpokladana TDP a quartal vydani
Today was the first time that we get a bit more accurate timeframe for the 45nm K10.5 launch. AMD internally informed its gang that the new Star cores, all 45nm should launch in Q3 and Q4.
It wasn’t really precise as much as we would like it to be but it is the best we got so far. Previously AMD only communicated that its 45nm K10.5 generation is scheduled for second half of 2008.
The Deneb FX and Deneb cores, both 45nm quad cores are the first on the list. If it executes well we should see Deneb quad core with shared L3 cache and 95W TDB in Q3. If it doesn’t, the new hope will slip into Q4.
The second to launch very close to Deneb if not even simultaneously is Propus which is same as Deneb quad core 45nm design but it doesn’t have any L3 cache.
Triple core Heka and Dual core Regor both 45nm are scheduled for early 2009.
Poslednim 90nm procesorem ma byt AMD X2 5800+, ktery pojede na 3GHz zakladni frekvence, TDP by melo byt 89W.Ostatni K8 budou jen Brisbany, 5600+@2.9GHz, 5400+@2.8GHz a 5200+@2.7GHz. Zajimavym procesroem bude 4850e, ketry i pres zakladni takt 2.5GHz bude mit TDP jenom 45W. Jednojadrovy LE1660 bude na taktu 2.8GHz. V druhem quartalu budou doplneny dvoujadry zalozene na K10, jadre Kuma.

AMD Montreal first appeared back in early 2007, and it was said to use an Intel-approach to multi-core. Stories claimed that AMD would take two Shanghai dies, slap them together and create a two-die octa-core processor dubbed Montreal. According to FUD, Montreal is actually a native octa-core. The source is a high-ranking officer at AMD. Since Montreal isn't suppose to arrive until next year sometime, we'll just have to wait until then, or when AMD decides to reveal more information about it.
