PC Perspective píše:Final Thoughts
While we can't fault Galaxy for this at all, the new GeForce 210s and GT 220s have a hard time standing up against the almost exactly one-year-old Radeon HD 4670 card. The gaming performance of the AMD option just blows away NVIDIA's new parts and the added benefit of CUDA-support is really the only outstanding feature that might tempt us into picking up an NVIDIA offering. NVIDIA will still likely sell a ton of these GPUs to OEMs building systems on the cheap where gaming performance isn't a selling point, but computer-savvy users will likely look elsewhere.

...Gaming wise cards like these are far from what I can call exciting, of course you are on Guru3D.com and we crave the need for high-end hardware. And as such we might be a little BIAS to a product like shown today. Also our test methodology is designed in such a way that mainstream and faster cards are way more representable in performance scaling. The GT 220 competes well with the Radeon HD 4650 but we do recommend you to look into the Radeon HD 4670 as it outperforms this product at roughly the same price. Then again, if you are into gaming .. we doubt you are even looking at this card as a viable option as you'd be compromising consistently on image quality...
Tom's Hardware píše:However, what the charts aren't able to show is the graphical anomalies we're seeing with the new GeForce GT220 and 210 cards when DirectX 10.1 is enabled:

This issue looks like it's caused by an improper SSAO implementation, based on what we've seen before. Unfortunately, it suggests that Nvidia has a bit of work ahead getting at least one DirectX 10.1 driver issue sorted out.

You know -- if the pricing comes down a little the GT 240 really is nice card. NVIDIA however is now facing a problem ... the technology might be changed on their end, but on the end-user side it's the same performance and the same feature set we have been seeing for years now -- and that makes this release a little dull for you, the consumer.
I know everybody (myself included) really wants to see new DX11 class NVIDIA products. Well, expect Q1 2010 for NVIDIA's first real DX11 product releases. Until then we'll have to wait and sit out what is offered. If applicable to you, cards like these do offer true value for money -- but we can't ignore the fact that NVIDIA is a step behind ATI. As for the same money you can pick up the DX10 Radeon HD 4770 offering better, much better game performance -- throw in another 20 bucks and you are already at Radeon HD 5750 with much better overall performance and features...

Although the Geforce GT 240 is able to display most of the tested games smoother than the recently tested Geforce GT 220, the card nevertheless disappoints in matter of pure gaming power at the moment. Even the fastest GT 240 version with one GiByte GDDR5 VRAM places itself between the Geforce 9600 GT and the Geforce 9800 GT on the PC Games Hardware performance index. For gamers who want as much frames per second as possible but have a limited budget only, the cheaper HD 4770 to HD 4850 versions are more recommendable. With a card like the HD 4870/1G or the Geforce GTX 260-216 for about 110 respectively 130 Euros you get a noticeably faster device though. For a slightly above 100 Euros you can also get a DirectX 11 compatible HD 5750, too.
