Stratos: s tim by se ale musel razantne navysit pocet ostatnich jednotek aby to melo vubec smysl

prosim vas zakazte pristup stratosovi do sekcii s GPU..
a inac si myslim ze ten no-xov ulet v podobe dvoch BGA puzdier na jednej karte (4 kremiky), myslim si ze by to bolo velmi drahe na vyrobu.

k no-xove myslence...proc by to melo bejt drahy? amd i intel mel a ma ve svoji nabidce 4jadra/2jadra ktery byly slepeniny 2/1jadrovejch cpu. proc by to tedy nemelo jit u gpu

porovnaj velkost PCB na CPU a na grafike s dvoma BGA puzdrami velkymi jak hovado..

Karty založené na RV870 budou podle Fudzilly dostupné kolem léta až podzimu příštího roku (berte s rezervou)

RV870 - krycí název "Lil Dragon" (malý drak), 40nm

This is just an estimate on our part as technical specifications are still hard to come by. We also presume AMD to stay at DirectX 10.1 for now.

To není teda moc, neshoduje se to s mirkovými údaji a taky, že je to 40/45nm výrobní technologie, tak to vypadá prostě zatraceně málo.

To je pěkná chujovina. nVidia dlouho neměla pořádného soupeře pro R580, s příchodem G80 ale bylo nadmíru jasné, že ATI si nemohla dovolit usnout na vavřínech, i když zrovna byla ve vedení.

O R600 jsme taky věděli docela brzo, určitě ne moc dlouho po tom, co začaly prosakovat první informace o G80 (které byly úplně mimo). Takže na tohle bych nespoléhal.

Jsem přesvědčen, že vývojáři obou firem makají na 110% -> "spánek" vývojářům asi nehrozí.
