PS: a další výrok
Overclocking in mind, Bulldozer potentially could be something very special when it comes to pushing it to its limits. Myself and the other guys who definitely want to put this under the cold will and should know that already.
Lets say clock for clock BD is approx the same as Sandy Bridge. However current 2500/2600 K chips are limited, and your looking at a max cap if your VERY lucky of 6GHz. BD isn't capped. Lets say the latest rev BD chips under LN2 clock higher under the cold than previous Phenom II chips. What I'm suggesting is IF BD is what everyone expects it to be, then AMD can finally say for the first time in many many years that they have the fastest desktop CPUs on the market. That's quite exciting. Yes 2011 is expected not long after BD, but we don't know what to expect of it. One things for sure though 2011 chips will cost £1K each. BD MUCH cheaper and no caps.
It'll be interesting to see how BD handles the well known Intel loving Super Pi benchmark. If AMD BD can outperform SB in that benchmark, then fooook me, that'll cause a massive storm.
