Při čtení dvd na Hdd začne číst 3500kb/s a postupně se vyšplhá na 7000kb/s.
To je hrozně pomalí potřeboval bych to zvednout na co nejvíc!

Co takhle napsat, co to je za mechaniku a jaký média načítáš. DVD-ROM nebo DVD±R?

Tenhle problem vetsinou resi Firmwary s nolimitem, jenomze o tom vim jen u Toshiby , ale urcite musi byt neco takoveho i na jine mechaniky.

LG-GDR8163B je to dvd-romka a má číst 16xdvd a vůbec to 16x nečte!!!

Firmwar ten sem hledal ale na tuten typ sem žádnej nenašel!

16x jo, ale lisovaný. U pálených na to zapomeň, ostatně, jestli ti to čte 6x, tak je to na DVD-ROM dost slušný.

na druhym počítači mam DVD-romku a je to Teac a rychlost čtení má 12x a ten v pohodě načítá 11500 Kb/s DVD film načte o 6 minut rychlejš než LG

No tak jsi měl koupit Teaca.
Co DMA?

DMA nevim. Nevíš odkud bych si mohl stahnout firmware??? já ho nenašel!

Ptá se jestli máš zapnuté DMA Systém - Správce zařízení - Řadiče IDE... a tam zkontroluj jestli máš zapnuté DMA

stahnul sem si firmware a nevim který toho mam použít. tady je readme co u toho bylo:
LG GDR-8163B RPC1 and Auto Reset Firmwares

An RPC1 firmware defeats the internal counters within the drive and
removes region enforcement. This only is HALF of the equation. You
need to use DVD Genie or similar software to control your player
software. http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=239

An Auto Reset firmware is an RPC2 firmware where the counters and region
selection are stored in RAM and not committed to flash. Every time you
power up your system or reboot, the counters and region will reset so that
no region is selected and you have 5 user changes. Your player software or
operating system will prompt you to select a region whenever a disc from
a different region is inserted. If you use discs from multiple regions
this should not come as a surprise, but if you always use discs from the
same region you will see it every time you restart the drive. It resets
itself, if you don't understand this then you probably don't need to use
this firmware.

In ALL other respects the drive will function and report as normal.

If you have not used an RPC1 firmware before, and even if you have,
we strongly recommend that you try the Auto Reset.
