New Features

This release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite includes Crossfire™ enhancements that enable the Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) Crossfire rendering mode by default so that users will see significant performance benefits across all AFR compatible applications immediately (including newly released applications, so users do not have to wait for a future ATI Catalyst™ release to add Crossfire™ support for newly released titles). Future ATI Catalyst™ releases will add further Crossfire™ performance gains once new applications have been profiled specifically for Crossfire™.
Issues Resolved in the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite 7.1

The following section provides a summary of the issues that are resolved in the latest release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite. These include:

* Desperados 2: The game no longer fails to play and display an error in atioglxx.dll when AA is enabled. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25109
* Rome: Total War: Display corruption is no longer noticed when playing the game on an AMD Dual Core or Intel Dual core system containing an ATI X1800 series product. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25103
* Sniper Elite: Playing the game under Windows XP with a Radeon™ X1600 series installed no longer results in texture corruption being noticed. Further details can be found in topic number 737-22820
* Splinter Cell Double Agent: Corruption is no longer noticed when playing the game with AA enabled. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25104
* X-29:Launching an X-29 application on a system containing an ATI display adapter no longer results in an error message being displayed. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25169

Pozoruji lehky narust v testech

tak jsem si je nainstaloval a teďka se mi vždycky, když zapnu pc, nastaví frekvence monitoru na nějakou malou hodnotu, i když se mi tam hlásí 85 Hz.

... doporucujem si nainstalovat nove omega ovladace tie su tiez na catalyste 7.1 maju viac moznosti s nastavenim a zaberaju o 100 MB menej RAM ... jasna volba

Proboha co je to zase za nesmysl "zaberaju o 100 MB menej RAM"
Pokud jde o catalyst control - cli.exe tak to obvykle nezabírá víc jak 40MB, a za normálního chodu když se vněm nehrabeš tak kolem 10MB.

V hrách pozoruju citelný nárust výkonu. Konečně pořádné ovladače od verze 6.7.

Potvrzuji ,hlavně ve hrách Dark Messiah of Might and Magic a rainbow six vegas.

Myslíte, že se vyplatí updatovat z 6.12?
Když ono mi to PC teďka zrovna funguje, tak bych to nerad zas shodil
Je ten rozdíl fakt znatelnej? Někde sem četl nějaký testy a vždycky měli uplně totožné výsledky jako s 6.12 , někdy dokonce horší...

2 RDK: je fakt že CCC nabíhá dlouho, mě to ale neva protože do něj nelezu - nemam proč.
Ty tvoje rozdíly nebudou zapříčiněny jen catalysty, momentálně mám využití paměti 284700kB, takže podle teby bych měl s tray tools jen 184000 o čemž silně pochybuju, když z toho je 45000 mozilla a 22000 explorer.

Celá tahle palba do CCC mi pripadá smešná, to 3s nabíhaní (když uz tam jednou a čas vlezu) přežiju a spotreba pameti je porad dost v normě, jsou vetší žrouti.

Rekl bych, že ovladače ati maj vetší průsery než zrovna CCC - problemy v nekterych hrach me jako hrače zajímaj víc než nejaka 20MB spotreba ram.

U 7.1 na X1900xt porad zlobí stíny u Company of Heroes, marky jsou vicemene stejny jako 6.12.
Jednou mi 7.1 sama od sebe totalne rozhodila gamma korekci u rgb ve win, to zamrzí Bylo nutny hodnoty vydefaultovat, proč se tak stalo netušim.

Já mam taky X1900XT a žádný problémy s Company of Heroes nemám ani s 6.12 ani s 7.1

2vikicek: Abych rekl pravdu, tak ti neverim Tohle resi x lidí tady na foru, kazdej na lanparty, na atinach se ty stiny po par minutach nebo okamzite rozhodej (jde o stiny fog of war, ne o klasický stiny).

Ale nemám problém s žádnejma stínama.....jen s VPU recover
BTW ale nejdřív to jeden den šlo fakt normálně...pak sem nainstalil 7.1 a je to v háji...ani downgrade na 6.12 zatim nepomoh

3 sekundy ??

Ja mam e6400,1024 MB ram,Asus P5B Deluxe,Ati 1950 pro a nabiha mi to 10 sekund !! při prvním spuštění a pak při dalších tak za 5 sekund

Ono jde taky o to, ze i když tam CCC je, tak vetšinu vecí človek nastaví i pres prcka v trayi, vsync, AA, AF .. snad vše co je pri beznym hraní treba menit. Jak rikam, udavana "naročnost" ccc, to je to poslední co by ma na PC trapilo ...

Mě se už 3x stalo, že když jsem odinstaloval ovladače ATi myslim 7.0, tak komp resetnu(vyzve mě) a poté po zapnutí win detekují nový hardware a pokaždý modrá smrt... takže teď upgradovat na 7.1 nebudu, protože nechci zase přeinstalovávat os...
jinak moje sestava E6300 - gigabyte DS3 - 2x512 800mhz 4CL a 1950pro asus....Xp home
