Mam desku prave s timto chipsetem Intel 82443ZX (Zida ZX98-CT, jeste AT deska, proste historicky kousek), ma 2 DIMM sloty. V jednom slotu je modul 64 MB PC100. Moje otazka zni: Kdyz tam pridam dalsi modul 256 MB PC133, bude to fungovat, tj. budu mit 318 MB RAM?
The 82443ZX integrates a DRAM controller that supports a 64-bit main memory interface. The DRAM controller supports the following features:The Intel® 440ZX AGPset also provides DIMM plug-and-play support via Serial Presence Detect (SPD) mechanism using the SMBus interface.
- DRAM type: Extended Data Out (EDO) or Synchronous (SDRAM) DRAM controller optimized for dual-bank SDRAM organization on a row by row basis
- Memory Size: 8 MB to 256MB with 4 memory rows (two DIMMs)
- Addressing Type: Symmetrical and Asymmetrical addressing
- Memory Modules supported: Single and double density 3.3V DIMMs
- DRAM device technology: 16 Mbit and 64 Mbit
- DRAM Speeds: 60 ns for EDO and 100/66 MHz for synchronous memory (SDRAM).
Nemate s tim nekdo prakticke zkusenosti?
Dale jsem nekde zaslechl, ze tyto chipsety BX/ZX jsou citlive na ruzne typy pameti (jednostranne/oboustranne moduly, ruzne pocty chipu na modulu). Jaky typ pameti doporucujete?
P.S. Pokud nahodou mate nejaky prebytecny modul, ktery by mohl na ZX fungovat, napiste mi pls do vlakna "K: Koupim SDRAM paměti 128 nebo 256 MB" v Bazaru.
