Samsung SH-S202 a vypalovani >16

Zdravim,
mate nekdo zkusenosti s vypalovanim rychlosti vice nez 16x s touto mechanikou?

Ja to zkousel a mam mensi problem - pri paleni 20x se kazde druhe medium zkazi (vypaleni probehne ok, ale nezapise lead-out stopu)
Na 18x to funguje skoro jak ma (dnes stejna chyba jako s 20x), bez problemu funguje jen s 16x.

Neresil ste nekdo nahodou neco podobneho? Vim, ze na media bych mel palit rychlosti na kterou josu urcena, jen sem chtel tu 20x zkusit.

Pokud nemáš certifikovaná média na 18-20x zápis, tak to zbytečně řešíš...

Ne tak docela. Mechanika si ten disk před začátkem pálení otestuje a pokud se jí nezdá dostatečně kvalitní, tak na něj prostě vyšší rychlostí než 16x nevypálíš a můžeš mít disky třeba z jednoho paklu, je to jedno.

No to "povoluje mechanika", tedy ve vypalovacím programu (softwaru) se ti ta možnost objeví, protože dle své tabulky médií ve firmware to ta mechanika povoluje.
Ovšem i v průběhu vypalování může snížit rychlost, pokud se jí zápis nebude zdát kvalitní.

Povolovat zápis na 16x média rychlostí 18x, nebo dokonce 20x, je vyloženě spekulace - a ten problém se musí takřka zákonitě projevit ve výsledné kvalitě - zejména v "podélném smyslu" (PIE/PIF), ale někdy dokonce i v "příčném smyslu" (ATER/ADER, resp. Jitter).

Totiž, když ta média nejsou dělaná pro zápis tak vysokými rychlostmi, tak s tím moc nenadělají ani inženýři pracující na úpravě firmwaru.

Je to prostě šílená loterie - a pokud je netestuješ, tak tuplem.
Nehledě na to, že tak vysoké rychlosti (>10000 ot./min) v podstatě představují i mechanické limity pro tento druh zápisu.

Mechanika si ten disk před začátkem pálení otestuje a pokud se jí nezdá dostatečně kvalitní, tak na něj prostě vyšší rychlostí než 16x nevypálíš a můžeš mít disky třeba z jednoho paklu, je to jedno.

Hehe, tohle se mi jednou stalo, že u disků z 1 balíku mi na některé chtěla 1 mechanika Pioneer 112L (Buffalo 8.25) vypalovat rychlostí pouze 4x, na ostatní ze stejného balíku to bylo 18x; tedy alespoň Nero (ne ten císař, ani náš boxer) to nechtěl povolit. Ale šlo ho odrbat, kdy se pro "rekognici" vložilo "dobré" DVD+R, nu a pak se to těsně předtím vyměnilo - a vida, předtím nastavená rychlost se již nezměnila a Nero Burning ROM to umožnil.
Kvalita zápisu (nebo bych snad měl říci "čtení"? ;-) ) byla jak pro 6x, tak i pro 8x v podstatě stejná, jako v případě ostatních disků z téhož balíků.

Tak uz to dela i u 16x. Problem je, ze zamrzne vzdycky pri ukoncovaci stope a nehodi chybu (mechanika proste porad "vypaluje"). Jedina cesta ven je restart pocitace

Být tebou zkusil bych jiný vypalovací software, popřípaně mechaniku v jiném PC a pokud bude delat problemy i tam RMA tě nemine. (teda pokud mas zaruku).

Hmm. Je to mesic stara mechanika, ta pred tim delala uplne ty stejne chyby takze bych to videl nejdriv na reinstall systemu.

Edit: zkusil sem vymenit IDE kabel a zda se, ze je to ok.
