The Verdict
...If you plan to purchase this card performance wise and use it for typical fashion / regular gaming usage, there's just hardly any gain to find. It's a bit unfortunate, because I really do like the idea of a manufacturer being creative this way. But facts are facts and anno 2008 a 2GB framebuffer is pretty much of no use. So for that you might as well go with the 512MB or even the 1 GB version.

Overclocking wise again we go into two directions. The core frequency of the GPU we could push upwards pretty easily. Combined with the cooling solution at hand, and the handsome 3rd party overclocking software like Rivatuner, the sky is the limit. However it is the memory that is a limiting factor. We could barely overclock it at all. And if anything, the 4850 can very much need extra framebuffer bandwidth.

Tenhle test na mě udělal dojem zbytečnosti 2GB na HD4850. Nadruhou stranu je vidět že při CF, nebo u 4870 by se 1GB per card už mohlo hodit při hraní na 1920x1200px a ještě více na 2560x1600px.

...The Zalman GPU cooler used on the Toxic HD4850 cooled the card quite well. Idle temperatures of 35 to 38 degrees Celsius, and load temperatures of 60 to 64 Celsius - with "zero" noise - are a huge improvement over the standard cooling used on the 4850 series cards - no BIOS or software modifications needed. Those solutions worked for the reference cooling, but they came with a penalty - extra work and noise. The fact that the Toxic is an overclocked card means that the performance should exceed that of a non-overclocked version, which it did in 27 out of 32 benchmark tests. In four tests, the performance was equal (usually the lowest resolution tested), and it actually lost to the stock 4850 in one test...

Lze nějak nastavit, aby se ten profil sám zapnul po startu Xpéček, nebo si vždy musím manuálně ten profil zapínat.

když je to tiché a nemá to přes 50C tak bych si vzal accelero S2 radši

To mě teda zajímá životnost grafik co jedou denodeně kolem 85 C . Bratrovi teď odešla grafika 7600GT asi po 1,5 roce a to jí ubec netaktoval ale měl vysoký teploty kolem 60 C v zátěži .
