To já si nemyslím. Světlo emitované LEDkama anebo CCFL trubicí je přece rozdílné. Nejsem expert ale neemitují snad CCFL trubice také docela silnou porci ultrafialového záření?

Takže myslím že pro citlivé oči může být namáhavé pokud sedíte před monitorem s CCFL podsvícením, kdy do vás praží možná malý ale stálý proud ultrafialového záření. LED podsvícení vyzařuje UV paprsků znatelně méně.
