The technology allows AMD to feature large flash memory (M.2) on the graphics board along with the local memory that the GPU can send large data sets to directly rather than having it sent over the system memory which has slower processing capabilities. The card uses a Polaris 10 chip however we don’t know if its the full variant or a cut down version.

During the world’s first demonstration of a Radeon Pro SSG solution, 8K raw video timeline scrubbing was accelerated from 17 frames per second to a stunning 90+ frames per second. As content creators rapidly adopt 8K resolution to future-proof their content, a 5X performance boost will improve quality of life, productivity and efficiency in the editing process. The Radeon Pro SSG Beta Kit will set you back for a price of $9999 US when it launches in 2017.

Ton Roosendaal announces that AMD agreed on sponsoring Blender for two projects; one is for supporting Mike Erwin's work on Viewport and upgrading Viewport, another one is an internal project to hook up Blender with their new ProRender engine. More will be announced next week at SIGGRAPH. More sponsors are likely underway too.

AMD v Q1 2016 získalo témeř 5% podílu na trhu s dedikovanými GK, v samotném desktopu dokonce 7,3%

In total discrete graphics, AMD gained 4.8 share points to 34.2% of market by unit volume (based on Mercury Research). In desktop discrete, a subset of total discrete, AMD saw a 7.3 share point increase, rising to 29.9% market share. This is another positive testament AMD’s strategy is working as the company drives forward towards "Vega" offerings for the enthusiast GPU market, which AMD expects to bring to market in 2017 to complement our current generation of "Polaris" products.

to je dobře, konkurence potřeba je, Polaris to ještě myslím o kus vylepší, AMD je teď víceméně na svojem dlouhodobým průměru zastoupení na trhu, tohle navíc ošéfovali ještě 28nm produkty

ale podívej se na celkové výsledky... proč tomu tak asi je? - jo a navíc to bude těmi spousty předobjednávek (hlavně konzoloví obři MS (též SW obr)/Sony a univerzál s až neuvěřitelnou marží Apple) - což je dobré pro celkový přehled.

Nevim, co se ti na tom nezda. Grafiky v konzolich se mezi Discrete graphic card rozhodne nepocitaji, stejne tak se tam nepocitaji integrovany grafiky v APU atp.
