This section provides information on new features found in this release of the ATI Radeon™ Display Driver. These include the following:

  ATI Eyefinity - HydraVision enhancements
  • Maximizing a window across displays will now take user defined bezel compensation into account
  • Automatically adjusts window position when dragging and dropping windows to ensure title bar visibility
  • Proper dialog box placement - dialogs do not cross displays, are not hidden behind bezels, and can be designated to be shown on the users “preferred” display
  Enhanced Pull-down detection
  • The Pull-down detection algorithm has been enhanced for higher visual quality on
    certain types of video content
  • Supported on the ATI Radeon™ HD 5000 Series
  ATI CrossFireX™ technology – support for rotated displays
  • This release of ATI Catalyst™ enables end users running supported ATI CrossFireX™ configurations to rotate their displays (single or ATI Eyefinity display configurations) and still enjoy the performance benefits of ATI CrossFireX™ technology
  ATI Radeon GPU acceleration of VLC 1.1.1 Media Player
  • Enables GPU acceleration of h.264 video content when using the VLC 1.1.1 Media Player – delivering a better user experience by consuming less system resources
  • Supported on the ATI Radeon™ HD 5000 and ATI Radeon™ HD 4000 Series of products
  • Requires VLC version 1.1.1 and later

Performance Improvements
The following performance gains are noticed with this release of Catalyst™ 10.7:

• Borderlands
  • Performance increases 3-5% on ATI Radeon™ HD 5800 and ATI Radeon™ HD 5700 series single card and CrossFire™ configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled
  • Performance increases 3-8% on ATI Radeon™ HD 5970 single card and CrossFire™ configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled
  • Performance increases 2-6% on ATI Radeon™ HD 5600 and ATI Radeon™ HD 5500 series single card configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled
  • Performance increases 2-10% on ATI Radeon™ HD 4800 series single card and CrossFire™ configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled

Resolved Issues for All Windows Operating Systems
This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite for Windows. These include:

• "Current Setting" indicator will now appear when "Windows desktop" option is selected in "Catalyst™ Control Center - Basic" for specific CV resolutions

Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 Operating System
This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI Catalyst™
Software Suite for Windows 7. These include:

• "Desktop Window Manager has stopped working" error no longer appears after driver installation on specific cards
• ATI Stream (CAL) test no longer exits with exception error under CrossFire™ configurations
• Screen no longer turns blank when flashlight is turned on in "The Chronicles of Riddick 2" with Screen Space Ambient Occlusion enabled
• Running Unigine Heaven 2.1 (OpenGL) with "Tessellation" enabled no longer causes system to fail
• Player no longer exits abruptly while changing basic quality settings in Catalyst™ Control Center
• Browser no longer fails after repeated system suspend/resume and video playback pauses while viewing YouTube content

Pravda, vypadá to na problémy s CF. Majitelé single-GPU konfigurací si spíš pochvalují konečně opravené zacházení s texturami pod OpenGL driverem.

mno to si snad delaji prdel ne? to uz bylo u dost lidi s 10.6 (vcetne me), to vypada ze ty amateri nejsou schopny vydat normalni ovladac, mit dvoucipovou kartu nebo CF je pomalu trest za to, ze vubec nekdo koupi. to vydaj finalni ovladac a zachvili zase bude nasledovat hotfix, jakej to ma tedy smysl? jestli ho vubec vydaj, minule se na to vysr*ly i kdyz tam meli plny forum problemu s BSOD u CF a dual cip karet

to mi bylo jasne vzdycky ale nejhorsi na tom je ze to slapalo taknejak celkem dobre (az na nejaky vyjimky) ale po prichodu generace HD5xxx je to jenom horsi takhle to vypada ze snad nejlepsi bude rollback na cat 10.2-10.3 protoze ty nasledujici byli uz jen horsi pro hd 4870x2 v mem pripade a stejne to nedosahuje kvalit (pokud vezmeme v potaz 1-2 roky stare hry) ovladacu z brezna - cervna 2009.

= to s temi ovladaci z 2009 slo predevsim o to ze v urcitych hrach bylo lepe nastaveno LOD kdy v podstate na novejsich verzich casto objekty mizeli uplne (pripad LOTRO) a par dalsich.

Tak já už jsem zoufalý. Mám Powercolor HD5770 512MB a Win7 32bit a od Catalystů 10.3 nejsem schopný ani jedny rozjet. Poslední funkční, které používám, jsou 10.2. Všechny novější verze dělají stejný problém tj. při startu systému, po uvítací obrazovce, vytuhne obraz a jde vidět pokaždé modrá plocha se svislýma proužkama.... Pomůže jen tvrdý reset a smazání ovladačů v nouzovém režimu. Nesetkal se někdo s podobným problémem? Nechápu, čím to může být a pěkně mě to se*e

Ano setkal, mělo by pomoct aktualizovat BIOS základní desky a popř. i karty (pokud je novější BIOS k dispozici).

Na desce mám nejaktuálnější bios. S biosem grafiky si nejsem jistý, našel jsem jen pár biosů na tuhle kartu, ale nevím, jestli jsou novější, nebo ne viz.

Mladé jsem koupil do PC Radeon 5670tku a od verze 10.5 to po najetí plochy hodí jenom nějaké pruhy přes obrazovku a konec, bios na kartě i na desce je poslední, zlatá NVIDIA no.

Opraven bug s podsvícením notebooku které nešlo na 10.6 regulovat, nyní již jde, akcelerace ve VLC 1.1.1 na radeonu 4330 funkční .

Hm podle toho testu jsou v crossfire preci jen trochu rychlejsi proti 10.6.
Ze bych je preci jen nainstaloval?
Skoda ze ten server vubec neznam a neverim jim...
