Obnova img disku z linuxu

Zdarec, su naprosta lamka a potrebuju pomoct, chtel bych si udelat img dusku, kde amm windows a ten pak jednoduse z linuxu obnovit, kdys se enco pokazi abych měl hned fungujici win s programama a nemusel vsechno podar pracne instalovat, ale nevim jak to udělat, mužete mi někdo poradit nějaky software, nebo link na navod, bo cokoliv. The NTFS (Windows NT File System) is currently not fully supported: this means you will be able to save an NTFS partition if system files are not very fragmented, and if system files are not compressed. In this case, you will be able to save the partition into an image file, and you will be able to restore it after. If there is a problem when saving, an error message will be shown and you won't be able to continue. If you have successfully saved an NTFS NTFS partition, you shouldn't have problems as you restore it (except in the case of bugs). Then the best way is to try to save a partition to know if it is possible. If not, try to defragment it with diskeeper or another tool, and try to saving the partition again.

Predpokladejme, ze windy jsou na 1. partition na primary master disku (v linuxu tedy hda1). Potom odpoj (umount) windowsovy diskovy oddil a jako root spust:

dd if=/dev/hda1 | gzip > windy.img.gz

Toto ti vytvori zagzipovany obraz windowsoveho disku. Vznikly obraz bude jednoduse pouzitelny pouze pro obnovu windows na stavajicim diskovem oddile.

Obnova (opet jako root):

zcat windy.img.gz > /dev/hda1

EDIT: mnohem mensiho obrazu disku dosahnes, pokud pred vytvorenim obrazu vyplnis volne misto na disku nulami. Nevim, jak toho dosahnout ve Windows, ale pokud to je FAT32, tak to udelas klidne z Linuxu - na disk s windows uloz soubory plne nul (bude jich muset byt asi vic - FAT 32 nezvlada soubory vetsi, nez 4GB).
