8-core processor outscored AMD Ryzen 1800X 8-core competitor in the face of Intel Core i7 6900K in gaming tests
AMD Ryzen processors have already done a lot of noise in the computer world, despite the fact that they have not yet been released to the market. The official announcement took place a week ago, and after 2 days, ie, February 28, they will already be presented. Let me remind you that pre-order models of AMD Ryzen 7 can be done now. More low-end models will be presented in the second half. Throughout the time we have all seen a lot of leaks, showing the performance of new products. One can already say that "stones" turned out excellent, and AMD, as finally return to the market of high-performance processors, where there now reigns giant Intel. All performance tests leaked touch synthetics, and most concerned by the question: "What will be the performance of new products in the games?" Now that the veil of secrecy once priotkryli leak, where the processor AMD Ryzen 7 1800X and its Intel Core i7 6900K direct competitor to have been tested in the gaming test.
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X (worth $ 499) and Intel Core i7 6900K competitor (worth $ 1050): According to the source, the two 8-core processor were taken for testing. Testing was carried out in the game Sniper Elite 4, the equipment specification can be seen below:
Intel is ready to conduct explanatory work with the authors of AMD Ryzen Reviews
Even without using the methods of industrial espionage, Intel company has been able to form some idea of the level of AMD Ryzen processor speed. Mass leakage has occurred against the will of AMD, but against such a buzz around the announcement of such a situation does not surprise anyone, and do not bother. However, extensive officially approved for publication processors AMD Ryzen reviews adorn the pages of leading sites in the next few days, and as long as the persons concerned are engaged in preparatory work.
Do not remain aloof and Intel company, according to the resource SemiAccurate, which cultivates not only the independence of the advertising revenue, living on the proceeds from the subscriptions, but also despise any kind of obligation to disclose information. Associates report that some observers, preparing materials on processors AMD Ryzen received letters from Intel last week with the offer by contacting the company prior to the publication Ryzen reviews. It seems that Intel is ready to announce something important that can affect the conclusions published at the end of review.
By the way, it can be quite harmless information about the upcoming price drop on Intel processors, and to speak about the pressure on the press prematurely. Especially as more and more signs indicate a willingness to offer their Intel processors at lower prices after the market Ryzen 7. Intel has good reasons to fight for the productive segment of the desktop processors, because the company's revenue is still heavily dependent on the production for the PC segment and gaming accessories - is that part of the market, which continues to benefit from strong demand amid a general decline of interest in traditional desktop computers.
